बजेट 2024
1 फेब्रुवारी 2024 रोजी अंतरिम बजेट सादर केला जाणार आहे. पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांच्या दुसऱ्या कार्यकाळातील हा शेवटचा बजेट असणार आहे. केंद्रीय अर्थमंत्री म्हणून निर्मला सीतारामण यांचाही हा शेवटचा बजेट असणार आहे. त्यानंतर लोकसभेच्या निवडणुका होतील. म्हणूनच 1 फेब्रुवारी रोजी अंतरिम बजेट सादर केला जाणार आहे. हा बजेट निवडणुकीच्या पार्श्वभूमीवर मांडला जाणार असल्याने या बजेटमध्ये का असेल याकडे सर्वांचं लक्ष लागलं आहे. नोकरदार वर्गापासून ते उद्योगजगतापर्यंत आणि गृहिणींपासून ते पायाभूत प्रकल्पांपर्यंत या बजेटमध्ये काय दिलं जाणार? याकडे देशाचं लक्ष लागलं आहे. कृषी, आरोग्य आणि रेल्वे आदी विभागांवर बजेटमध्ये सवलतींचा वर्षाव होणार का? याकडेही लक्ष लागलं आहे. तसेच करदात्यांना करातून सवलत मिळणार का? याकडेही देशाचं लक्ष लागलं आहे.

उत्तर – 1 फेब्रुवारी 2024 रोजी केंद्रीय अर्थमंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण बजेट सादर करणार आहेत.

जवाब – इंदिरा गांधी सरकारच्या कार्यकाळात 1974च्या अर्थसंकल्पात पहिल्यांदाच स्टँडर्ड डिडक्शन सुरू करण्यात आलं होतं.

उत्तर – कोणतंही शुभ काम करण्यासाठी गोड खाल्ललं पाहिजे, अशी प्रथा आहे, त्यामुळे बजेटसारख्या इव्हेंटपूर्वी हलवा सेरेमनीचं आयोजन केलं जातं.
प्रश्न – रेल्वे अर्थसंकल्पाचं मुख्य अर्थसंकल्पात विलिनीकरण कधी करण्यात आलं?
उत्तर – 2016मध्ये तत्कालीन रेल्वेमंत्री सुरेश प्रभू यांनी शेवटचा रेल्वे बजेट सादर केला होता. त्यानंतर स्वतंत्रपणे अर्थसंकल्प सादर करण्याची ही परंपरा बंद करून मुख्य अर्थसंकल्पात रेल्वे बजेटचं विलिनीकरण करण्यात आलं.

उत्तर – स्वतंत्र भारतात सर्वात पहिल्यांदा 1949-50च्या दशकात टॅक्स स्लॅबमध्ये बदल करण्यात आला होता.
