Jack Richard Edwards, born on 19 April 2000 in Manly, New South Wales, is one of the most promising batting all-rounders in Australian cricket. Edwards utilizes his height to great effect, characterized by a clean, technically sound batting style and a natural ability to time the ball. As a right-handed batsman and right-arm medium-fast bowler, he has evolved from a specialist opening batter into a versatile all-rounder capable of impacting games in all three facets of the sport.

His domestic journey began with a meteoric rise through the New South Wales pathway system. He made his First-Class debut for the NSW Blues in October 2018 and quickly etched his name into the record books.
