Pratappur is constituency number two hundred and fifty-seven of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly. It is one of the twelve Assembly seats of Uttar Pradesh's Allahabad district. It is one of the five Assembly seats that make up the Bhadohi Lok Sabha constituency. The Pratappur Assembly constituency is a general seat, i.e. it is not reserved for SCs or STs.
